To add your resident alien spouse to your tax return follow these steps:
- Sign in to your TurboTax account if it is not open.
- Select Personal info.
- On the page Personal info summary select Edit on the line for Single.
- On the page Let's confirm your marital status select married, Click continue.
- Follow the prompts to enter your spouse's information.
