I struggled importing from TD Ameritrade as it asked for a nine digit account number and mine is eight. At least it is eight when I sign into TD Ameritrade. In the past years I just manually entered the information. This year I resolved it. The account number is actually found on the 1099 from TD Ameritrade. It is located on the center top of the page under the heading Tax Information. The Document ID is just to the right of it. I hope this helps.
