I experienced this last year. Had something to do with the stimulus checks and entering the incorrect amount. It caused a hold on my account and I had to contact the IRS via phone. Took from February to September to get anyone helpful on the phone who could actually figure out what was going on. I believe the number is listed somewhere up above in comments.
