Cannot Enter W-2

I purchased the Deluxe edition of TurboTax through Amazon and have tried numerous times over the past two weeks to import or manually enter my W-2 information, only to get the "hit a snag" error.  This is the first time ever seeing this kind of error, and I cannot understand from a developer standpoint why I cannot even get to the option to manually enter the data.  Is there another path to manually enter the W-2 data besides leaving the EIN field blank?  Uninstalled & reinstalled TT twice.  Removed prior versions of TT.  Ran TT as Administrator.  Don't know what else to do.  (On latest Windows 10 and all patches up-to-date.)
