Here is a workaround.
- Go back to the 1095-A. Type 1095-A in the search box and click the "jump to 1095-A" link.
- Click edit on the "Here's what we have for your 1095-A" screen
- Click continue.
- On the "Let us know if these situations apply to you" screen, unclick the box that says you are self-employed.
- Proceed through the rest of the 1095-A screens.
Once you have done that return, in the same manner, and recheck the box that says you are self-employed. Again, proceed through all the 1095-A screens.
