First, TT does not make tax payments. If applicable, it provides the payment INFO to the state, and the state then pulls the payment from your bank or credit card.
Second, many states do not even let TT do this. When you file your state return, you are given the payment options available for that state (which may not be the same as for Federal). Please check this carefully.
