I spent 3 hours on the phone with a TurboTax Supervisor yesterdy with no success. We did note that it appears to that when the form was added to the program, that someone within TurboTax mistakenly entered $1 into one of the 8532 Worksheets where it should be calculating the total of the preceding entries but where those boxes remain blank. When we tried to edit it out, the form was unresponsive. I suspect that it is that, and not a change by the IRS that is preventing clients from filing. I do understand that the investigation into the problem is active, but in the meantime, if you need to file your Maryland Tax Return, you’re stuck. Hopefully they provide the necessary focus and commitment to get this resolved soon.
