The work around that says to delete the charitable contributions from the contributions and deduction area of TT and only enter it in the cares act question does not solve the issue. In doing that work around the charitable deductions do not roll into the state tax form preventing you from claiming these deductions on the state. There needs to be a fix in TT that allows for a standard deduction for federal and an itemized deduction on state with all charitable contributions allowed
