. Can I write my friends use of utilities, food, cable TV off against my income?

 I am a caregiver for an elderly friend living in my home. I get compensation from his long term healthcare insurance company as an independent contractor. My friend does not give me money but eats my food, uses my utilities and cable TV, etc
