From my understanding from reading other posts, the total amount of stimulus for the year is divided in half between you and your spouse correct? Such as if the total amount was $2,800, I will get a letter for $1,400 and my spouse will get a letter for $1,400?
So far only I received Letter 6475 and not my wife.
It is slowly making sense if this is the case because the amount on my letter is half of what we got on our third stimulus payment. I just wanted to make sure and file properly. I do not want more attention from the IRS.
