Rip in Franklin's solution worked great! I was almost ready to just return TurboTax and use H&R Block or some other (less expensive) program this year --- after 8 years of using TT. I spent over an hour on the phone with the TT's No-Help-At-All line and the woman I dealt with didn't have a clue what to do. I didn't even have to shut off my antivirus or firewall.
Only question I have is -- does editing the environment variables in Windows 10 to C:\TEMP have any effect on other things? I guess I should have taken a screen shot of what was there before. But I did do a full backup and create a disk image before I did anything.
Should I change the environmental variables back now?
