You can report your commission on line 21 of the Form 1040 Schedule 1.
Do this while in your return:
- Select Federal in the menu to the left
- Select the Wages & Income tab
- Scroll
to Less Common Income under the All income heading
- Scroll and
click Start, next to Other Miscellaneous Income, Form 1099-A,1099-C
- Scroll
to Other Reportable Income, and
click Start
- Enter a description for your commission then enter the taxable dollar
amount
- Click
the Done button if
you have no other miscellaneous income to enter.
