I told the tax pro from turbo tax that we got married on the 21st of December. Do I need to amend my return? she said NO I told her it had been 10 days of the year. she said I would file either way next year under married status. this year was fine. now I am getting emails for an outstanding bill from turbo tax. you definitely want your money even when I don't get mine.. its a rip off and I will never file using turbo tax ever again.
