I called the IRS on January 4, 2022 using the preparer preferential phone line to check on my son's advance premium tax credit refund for 2020 ( I am a CPA). They were able to see his return and tell me they still have not processed the refund. They did not have a suggested date as to when it would be done. Sad but true.
