Please explain more about what you see when you log in. When you log in, do you see no evidence of the 2018 return, and it's acting like it wants you to start one? If so, you likely have multiple accounts without realizing it, and we can help you find the right one.
The email address on your email is not necessarily your User ID. You can have up to 5 accounts that use the same email address for notification purposes.
