I can't find a way to start TurboTax 2021 without re-activating. On a new computer with an activated TurboTax I did the following:
- Disconnect network
- Start TurboTax
- "To get software updates, you need to connect to the Internet" dialog comes up
- Press "cancel" button
- "Let's install the latest updates" dialog comes up
- Updater runs, even though disconnected from network.
- "Successful Updates" "(released 11/17/2021)" program updates dialog appears.
- Press "Continue using Turbotax" button.
- Puts up new license agreement dialog that has to be agreed to.
- Activation dialog appears - "to activate your purchase you'll need to connect to the internet.
I really need to know if I can reactivate an already activated TurboTax 2021 WITHOUT losing one of my 5 activations.
