Unfortunately deleting the tax payments worksheet did not work, as Turbotax still does not calculate a refund when I re-enter the correct tax extension payment. Is there any other way to get Turbotax to recognize the extension payment? If I enter it as an estimated tax payment on the date I filed and paid the extension (which DOES cause a refund to be calculated), will this cause a problem with my tax form overall?
