Even though each year's initial release of TurboTax is not completely functional, the Form 1099-B worksheet generally seems to work right away.
This lets me get an early start on entering the details of the individual investment sales for my tax return. This is an area that tends to be somewhat labor intensive because I always seem to make so many small investment sales rather than just a few large sales.
