I messed up
When messed up my taxes. I accidentally left out 10k in unemployment payments however as my taxes I entered as if that amount was present e.g
(federal taxes withheld 2000, unemployment income paid 10k)
As if tax was just 10% flat. So I should have entered 20k in accordance to me listing I paid 2k income tax.
Actually numbers I believe we're
11k unemployment income and 2.4k federal income tax paid from the 11k when I actually received around 24K in unemployment but didn't realize I had 2 claims opened and was paid from both and didn't realize the information was separate. I didn't use my 1099 I filed before by adding the numbers with a calculator. Question is I didn't receive another check from the IRS like. Most did when the law was ineffect. Is it worth amending to see if I receive more
