Ok. So, it could be that credits you received were reduced due to the exclusion; so even though you owe less tax as a result of the reduction in income, the net result was that you only got an extra $3 in additional refund. It could also be that the IRS made a calculation error. The best thing would be to call in to our live help here at TurboTax so a Tax Expert can look at your return directly (if you did your return with us) OR go back to your tax preparer and have them look over the consequences of the unemployment exclusion.
