Unemployment

When filing taxes on unemployment are you suppose to file a schedule 1? Because I did not

What did you do?   If you entered your 1099G for unemployment correctly it goes on the Schedule 1 that is part of your Form 1040---it will be on lines 7 and 8.  Where did you enter it?

Yes, unemployment is reported on line 7 of Schedule 1, from there it carries to line 8 of form 1040.  If you received unemployment income, and did not report it, you should amend your tax return to include the unemployment income and any tax withheld.
