1099, do I have to file?
So I just noticed that I hadn't filed my 1090 for my 2020 tax returns. I only received a 1099 composite and 1099-DIV from Schwab. The only gains I made were:
Total Non-Qualified Dividends (Included in Box 1a): $0.18
Total Qualified Dividends (Box 1b and included in Box 1a): $12.61
Also, I made below $40,000 that year.
Do I need to go through the process of amending my tax returns? Or am I OK to not file for that year?
