TurboTax MAC 2014 same crash on OS X 10.14.6 Mohave on a mid 2015 Macbook Pro. I followed the suggestion and edited the .js file and viola. TT 2014 loaded flawlessly after doing an update check. That was the point at witch the app would crash an produce the crash report.
I uninstalled and deleted the TT 2014, reinstalled from same download version. Then launched no problem, it ran a update download 103.3 MB, ran the install. After the update is when the crash occurred.
