Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Do you get SSI (Supplemental Security Income) disability payments or do you get Social Security disability benefits? They're not the same thing. SSI is not taxable and there is no place to report it on a tax return. You do not get a Form SSA-1099 for SSI. If you got an SSA-1099, that's Social Security, not SSI. Follow the instructions that DoninGA gave you to enter your SSA-1099 in TurboTax.
