When your E filed a tax return is “Accepted“ that just means that it has passed very basic security and identity checks and been deposited in the IRS system. It may take weeks or months to process after that point. If the IRS “where’s my refund” tool says that your return is being processed but does not have a payment date, you will just have to wait until the IRS catches up and either pays the refund or sends you a letter requesting more information.
