once you calculate your estimated taxes you have the option to mail in form 1040-es with a check or money order prepared as directed in Turbotax instructions or you can use IRS Direct Pay where there's nothing to mail in and after finishing entering the payment info you can print a receipt. if you go the mail route use a method where you get proof of delivery.
