You access your tax payments on the Deductions and Credits screen, under the entry “estimates and other taxes paid.“
if TurboTax thinks you made a payment when you filed the extension request, but you did not make a payment, then you need to zero that figure out in the estimates and other taxes section.
if you did make a payment when you filed your extension request, then you get credit for that payment on your tax return. Any amount that you owe when you actually file your completed return will reflect all the payments you made during the year including the payment you made when you requested the extension.
