TurboTax only asks for 2020 contributions or 2020 contributions made before the May 17 filing date. Enter in the before May 17 date. TurboTax has no way to know when the actual contribution was made - the current date has noting to do with it - you might just be filing late.

Enter IRA contributions here:
Federal Taxes,
Deductions & Credits,
I’ll choose what I work on (if that screen comes up),
Retirement & Investments,
Traditional & Roth IRA contribution.

OR Use the "Tools" menu (if online version under My Account) and then "Search Topics" for "ira contributions" which will take you to the same place.
