Turbo Tax's failure to recognize the June 15 deadline for Texas, LA, OK residents has more than academic consequences. I just tried .. it will not let me calculate the IRA contributions I can make to reduce my taxes..
The deadline for IRA contribution has also changed. So Turbo Tax' lax attitude will hurt many tax payers. If that happens, I will seriously consider giving up on Turbo Tax... I have been using it since before 1990. But if Turbo Tax doesnt care for me, what good is my hanging around..
