Get your taxes done using TurboTax
@lilliesdaddy123 wrote:Why cant I speak to person at turbo tax unless I say I'm giving you money but yet my taxes still have not come in and your company has attempted to take money out of my empty bank account during a pandemic after I've lost my job, car, my place to live and everything else. Guess what? My account is empty and your attempts to take from it just make it more empty. Zero dollars is zero dollars. So if I dont get my returns you try to take it early and now I have a negative balance for this shot. If I dont get my taxes neither do you.
This is mainly a user community forum--not a direct route to TurboTax Support. You do not have to pay for TurboTax Support since it sounds like you used a paid product which includes phone support and chose to pay the TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund. So that qualifies for phone support. There's a phone number displayed in the first FAQ below.
Hours are currently 5AM-5PM Pacific (8AM-8PM Eastern) Monday-Friday.
The FAQ below tells why TurboTax debits the bank account for unpaid fees when your Federal refund has been delayed at the IRS. You should have been receiving some emailed bills prior to the debit and could have asked for the debit to be deferred if you have a hardship. Perhaps the emails ended up in your junk/spam folder or another email address.
FAQ: Why was my bank account auto-debited for the TurboTax fees?
If you received any non-sufficient funds fees (NSF) as a result of their auto-debit, you have some recourse. But you need to talk to Support first to get an incident number.
