Hi,
IRS found a miscalculation on my 1049 tax forms that I used TurboTax pro on. IRS changed the "tax computation " and the error resulted in me owing $2958.17 in additional taxes.
My calculations for Line 8b adjusted gross and taxable income and line 11b were not calculated correctly using the turbotax program. IRS found did the same calculations using the same data for line 8b and 11b but is showing a larger total tax calculation on line 16.
Please help me figure out why.
