I've been trying to file my taxes for months. I received some unemployment towards the beginning of the year. I try to access my 1099g and it says my pin has been locked. It requires me to verify myself with ID.me which ive found to be spying on every device at my IP address... even my daughters tablet. ID.me says it cant verify me bc I don't have my old number which is what they have data collection for. Its a fraud prevention company supposedly but they sent my old number a link with my personal info. Round of applause everyone. Ive spent months trying to reach id.me and the GDOL only to get bot responses through emails. So here it is the last day and I'm having to file an extension due to govt incompetence... imagine that. I've also spent hours on hold only to have lady pick up the phone, say GDOL how can I help you then she hangs up after I start talking. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what did you do?
