I am suddenly getting this same error code on Turbotax for Business 2019. Mind you I used it to file several returns last year with no problems. I went to pull it up this year so I could run last year & this year's returns side by side. I thought nothing when 2019 asked to update itself but after doing so it asked for the license code. I had a hell of a time tracking it down from a year ago but when I found my purchase receipt & the code, TT is suddenly spitting out this error. Why would Intuit cause software that was working to suddenly crash? The more I think about it, the more this seems like extortion. Is Intuit trying to make me pay twice for its product? And then down the road, maybe a third and 4th time. I'm pretty sure this is illegal. The California Attorney General will probably have a field day with this one. Intuit needs to fix this.
