For some reasons, you might have checked the box for substitute Form 4582 by accident. If you have been issued a Form 1099-R, you do not need the Form 4582.
To enter a Form 1099-R, here are the steps:
In TurboTax online,
- Sign in to your account and select Pick up where you left off
- From the upper right menu, select Search and type in 1099r and Enter
- Select the Jump to 1099r
- On-screen, Let's import your tax info, select I'll type it in myself
