I had the same problem. Except I had not excess SDI and TurboTax thought I did. Entering zero did not fix the problem. I had electronically uploaded my W-2 information. I deleted the W-2 entry and manually entered the W-2 information. Then I had to delete the zero from line 74 in the CA 540 worksheet. That worked.
