Unable to import 1099B with over 3000 transactions or already prepared 8949 schedule D .

Hi,

Turbotax premier won’t let me import 1099b with over 3000 transaction. Not only this, but I prepared Schedule D and 8949 using another financial website such as gainskeeper or TradeLog software which “active traders” use. It prepares all the required forms for us in pdf format or txf format . So why are we not able to attach that or import those forms that are already prepared by another software ? This seems ridiculous to manually enter the summary and then mail out hundreds of pages of the 8949 ? What’s the purpose of “premier” if it can’t do all the simple stuff ?

ive just discovered other tax software TAXACT allows people to attach pdf , why can’t TurboTax ?
I understand directly importing 1099b from broker with over 3000 transactions slows down the TurboTax but that’s the reason active traders use other softwares such as gainskeeper  or tradelog (which are pricey itself) to prepare everything for us and TurboTax can’t even import a prepared document.

Been using this for many years but it might be finally time to switch to other tax software. Many people are over 3000 transaction in this age. Can TurboTax update their software to include this functionality?
