Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I am in Michigan having the same issue. I am in information technology and my specialty is problem solving issues like this.  I can see tin a network trace that the program is connecting to 23.63.176.172 on port 443 as downloadpatch.esd.intuit.com so I know the firewall is not an issue.  I see my turbotax client communicate with a Splunk HTTP event collector hosted in AWS at 3.128.209.108 so someone is collecting logs data and someone just needs to go look at it.  TurboTax, if you need help call me back.  I think there is an issue with the original code, maybe it is connecting to a deprecated update site or something.  I purchased the downloadable software from Amazon.  Help/about/version shows Module WinPerReleaseMSI is version [phone number removed] on mine, the 3rd person I got from TurboTax support stated this should be version [phone number removed].  I checked with my Mom in CT and she gets the CD every year and hers is updated to the version ending in 1738 so I am fairly certain this is part of the issue.   For the record the manual update did not help.  I also installed it on 2 other computers 1 brand new from the store and did not work.  Uninstall reboot and re-install it goes through the initial updates after you first run it but it still states that it needs an update to transmit.  I do not run any 3rd party firewall or antivirus but I went through and disabled all components built in to windows 10 and still no luck.  Running as administrator either the install or the manual update and no luck either.   3 attempts to work with support yesterday and the first one the call was dropped, 2nd one Zion W., case [social security number removed] literally told me too bad there was a known problem, he should be fired.  3rd person was the best but got to the endof a shift and had a personal appt.  to get to.  About 8pm EST last night someone called me back but I was in a hockey rink for practice for my kids.  I have asked over and over to escalate and they keep saying there is no escalation.
