I had the same single error in my return. I followed the advice, deleted the $300 charitable contribution, re-ran the error check (zero errors), then went back & added in a charitable contribution & claimed $300 of that contribution. The tax owed was the same as TT had originally computed, not the higher amount with the contribution removed. It worked, but it seems to me the software should have been patched back in February for this common error.
