Migrating TurboTax 2019 H&B form Windows 7 to Windows 10 (on same PC) and encountered Error code: 603 (Activation Limit Exhausted) - this is a utter flawed strategy

"All available activations for that code have been used. Error code: 603". After reinstalling my PC with Windows 10 - I can't activate the 2019 Turbo Tax .

"Enter your 14-character license code. It's in the instructions that came with your product and is valid for installation on up to 5 computers"

I AM TRYING TO INSTALL TURBO TAX 2019 ON THE SAME LAPTOP (I just replaced windows 7 with windows 10 by reinstalling my PC/Laptop) . It clearly states that you can install TT on up to 5 computer; it does not say that you can install only up to 5 times (and that would be disaster if that's what they intended to do so).

There are various scenarios where user will end up reinstalling the TT for more than 5 times. (Such as - if you Operating System is corrupted, your hard drive is corrupted, accidently program is deleted, TT program is crashing and had to reinstall, if laptop is lost of stolen,  you are migrating your PC from Windows7 to Windows 10 (or higher) thus you are reinstalling the same PC. and etc.

This feels like a scam, and an invitation to class action lawsuit. Intuit better improve their infra structure for activation management to manage its counter#; and allow user flexibility.

Let user deactivate the software from existing PC (if still available); otherwise present user a list of PC where key is active and let user chose one/multiple PC and deactivate it to free up spot of new PC; and let user consume freed up spot for replaced/reinstalled PC/Laptop/Mac.

This is big QA failure team or a big dark spot on Development Team; if not then - it is a sneaky strategy by Product Management team. and should be fixed immediately.

Hope to see the resolution for my situation....

Thanks,
