Thanks for letting me know, but TT says it cannot file because I selected a simplified AMT Foreign Tax Credit limitation. There are no errors that TT identified.
Your suggestions don't address that I don't think. I have selected this (checked "yes") every year with no problems e-filing, but alas, not in 2020. I tried checking "no" and e-filing, and it went through TT, but the return was rejected by the IRS.
