If you received Notice 1444 in the mail but have not received your payment as mentioned in the notice, then you need to request a trace to be able to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 tax return. If you did not claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on line 30 of Form 1040 when you filed your original return then you will have to amend your tax return once your original return has been processed. Please see FAQ How to amend a tax return for instructions.
