Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I am confused (and I guess you are as well!!)
You had 14 shares with a cost basis of $189.85 per share or $2657.90
The sales proceeds for 14 shares are $182.97 per share or $2561.58 (which ties to the brokerage statement)
the difference is a loss of $96.32
the two numbers in bold are both the sales proceeds- that isn't correct. In fact, where are you even getting the 2nd bolded line from???
Net sale price $2562.00 (in truth, my brokerage shows $2,561.58)
The basis per share shows $189.85
Number of shares sold X 14.00 = $2571.57
Short Term Loss: -$9.57
