Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I have a similar problem, and I have not found an answer to this. I received UNUM long term disability payment for 2018 and 2019 which I received a W2 form and paid taxes on that income
In 2020 I received a lump sum payment from Social Security for those years and I repaid UNUM for that money completely. I received this year a form SSA-1099 saying I received 51000 in social security benefits which went to UNUM. How do I adjust my taxes now if I do not have to amend my previous taxes?
I'm disabled I only received this year between social security and UNUM approximately 32000 60% of my older salary
