While eligible (with 2019 AGI at $70K), I did not get any stimulus checks because my SSN did not allow employment even though I have been a USA citizen for more than 20 years.
I got the SS office to change that, but IRS told me they still would not send me a check; rather I could claim tax credit
On my 2020 tax return's recovery rebate credit worksheet . However, the worksheet only lets me list my 2020 AGI (which is $150K) instead of my 2019 AGI, so the worksheet gives a zero credit as result.
I called IRS four times and all four agents from Stimulus Check office couldn't give a solution , they transferred me to somebody each time and the phone was disconnected each time because it is always too busy and only asks me to call later.
Can anybody in here advise me how to do?
