You will need to amend your 2020 tax return. For instructions on how to amend, see: How do I amend my 2020 return?
Once you have started the amended return:
- Type "Dividends" into the search window and hit enter
- Click on "Jump to dividends"
- Click "Edit" next to the 1099-DIV you need to edit
- Make changes or additions to any boxes that changed on the corrected Form
