Get your taxes done using TurboTax

TurboTax will handle the 1098-T for you. Maybe the concern was the w2 coming into play, to show full aid received for the program to determine how much credit you should receive.

  • If the aid from work is showing as taxable income in box 1, it does not affect your 1098T and all is well.
  • If you received scholarships that are not being taxed, then it would affect the credit allowed. You can choose to make more of a scholarship taxable so you can have a higher credit.
