New York State Form IT-225 return is used for New York additions and subtractions that do not have their own line on your return.

If you already entered form 1099-B and you see that the amount is reflected on your IT-201, and do not think IT-225 applies you to, you can delete the form. It will be called something like Additions/Subtractions (225)
- Click My Account
- Select Tools
- Scroll down and click on Delete a form
- Click Delete next to the form or Schedule and follow the instructions to remove the form/schedule
