return is different from what was filed
I submitted my return on approximately 3/10; prior to the unemployment compensation being changed to non-taxable. My return was accepted by the IRS and a check has been received for my refund. But now the software has apparently been updated because it shows my return to be different than what was filed. It shows my taxable income to be less due to unemployment compensation not being taxable and therefore refund much higher even though I have already received refund in the mail. So question is, do I need to file an amended return with IRS in order to receive additional amount of refund?
