This is the first and last time I will use Turbo Tax. The process was simple enough and I actually liked their program better than H&R block - which I had used for years. However, when I get all done; it tells me that my "NYS return has a special tax situation that won't allow me to e-file my return." I paid the extra money to talk to the Tax Experts. So far, I have spoken with 4 of them and spent HOURS trying to fix this issue. While they were all very nice, none of them could figure out what was going on and said they would have to put in a ticket to IT as it seems like a software issue. So they are telling me to print and mail my return - which is frustrating as I spent an extra $55 on NYS to save the return and e-file it. Plus NYS makes it pretty clear they DO NOT want you to send in a paper copy.
Does anyone have a suggestion of how to fix this??? Thanks so much!
