If your only income is social security, it would be hard to have a frivolous return. You are not taking an unreasonable stance and trying to impede the IRS. People with only social security income are not required to file. Filing without need is not frivolous.
Once a human being looks at your return and realizes the issue, it will progress on through the system. The computer clearly made a mistake. Have patience while your return moves through the system.
